About Alice

Alice Gomstyn

A reporter for more than a decade, I’ve covered every beat under the sun, including business, tech, health, parenting, and education.

My career began in newspapers, with my byline appearing in The Boston Globe and The Providence Journal, among others. I started working in web journalism in 2008, reporting on business for ABC News and later founding the network’s parenting blog. I’ve since built a career in content marketing and today, you’ll find me working with corporate clients on a variety of projects, as well as crafting the occasional freelance piece for various news outlets.

Find my articles and essays at:

Looking for something on the lighter side? I’m also a humorist and have contributed to The New Yorker’s Daily Shouts, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, Slackjaw, and three anthologies.
